I had just started trying to do this company full time and wanted to advertise it and the first thing that popped in my head was to get my website URL and phone number out there for people to see. A vehicle wrap seemed like the best way to do it.
I did have the vinyl cutter then, but I wanted something full color, because I wanted to show off my logo as well. In the end, that might not have been the best idea. I should have let it focus on what I can do, rather than my logo.
Also at that time, to help make ends meet, I was driving for Uber. Uber doesn’t allow other company logos on cars that drive for them, but I had already been setup with them, so I figured I had at least a year before it could be an issue. Besides, passengers in my didn’t seem to care, and in fact, it was always a conversation starter.
Getting back to the wrap itself, the guy installing it broke my door handle, which, of course, they covered the cost to fix it and I believe that fix was worth more than their wrapping charge.
