Product Arrived With Masking Tape Applied
Some laser supplies come with masking tape already applied and some we apply masking tape to before using the laser to cut or engrave. This is because the laser will leave slight burn marks or blackened areas on the supplies. If the masking tape is present before the laser leaves the marks, then we can simply remove the masking tape after the lase engraving/cutting process is done and any burn marks should be gone.
Some times, the burning can be intense and the laser may burn off the masking tape, leaving burn marks or warping. Please see more into on those topics below in the related help section.
In some cases, masking tape made have been intentionally left on your product as to prevent leaving any glue residue or fingerprints. Please remove this masking tape before use. If fingerprints are present, you may use a microfiber cloth to wipe them away.
