Warped Sign or Pieces

Product Arrived With Warping

Laser engraved signs may have some warping due to the laser burning process. Using 3M Command Strips (which may have been included), should help the sign lay flat against a wall. Please use 2-4 Command strips, depending on warping, and apply to back of sign more towards the center. Be sure wall is clean and press the sign firmly against the wall and hold it there for about 10 seconds to ensure the sign adheres to wall properly.

In higher heat areas, it may not stick to the wall at all or fall off over time. In this case, it is suggested to use a nail for hanging. Most signs do now come with a hold on the back to allow for nails.

If the sign is still not flat, you may use another thin plywood sheet, something that would be hidden behind the sign, and glue it on the back to help straighten it out. If your build it yourself kit came with warped pieces, similar to above, when gluing parts together, it will most likely lay flat or at least flatter once glued. It would be a good idea to hold it flat, applying pressure while you glue it for a few minutes, until it dries.

It is recommended that you use Super (CA) glue.
