This is a long video detailing the assembly instructions of all the parts and accessories for the Jungle Cruise sign. Included are details on the markers used for coloring, tools, glue, and more.
I also did a live build of this sign.. so if you prefer to watch in real time, click here.
This live build also features the updated green color that I now use. Check below in the markers section for more info.
Installing the new Jingle “i” Storage Magnet
A new update to the sign is another magnet located in the center of the back of the sign used to hold your Jingle Cruise “i” add-on when not in use.
To install, use your Jingle “i” to attach the 3rd magnet (you should have received 3 magnets, 2 of the back of the sign and 1 smaller for the back of the Jingle “i”) this will tell you which way the magnet needs to be facing when gluing it down. Next, add some CA glue into the hole, remove the magnet from the Jingle “i” and place it into the hole. Spray with glue accelerator (if available).
If you have an older sign with the Jingle Cruise “i” add-on, you can request a the 3rd magnet and plywood piece with storage message (see below) for free, however you will need to drill the 5/16ths (or 3/8ths) hole 1/8th of an inch deep in the back of the sign for the magnet on your own. In some cases, this may need to be moved over the right a bit due to battery placement. Please look on the front for the center oval for hole clearances.
There is also a new piece of plywood which mentions the Jingle “i” storage. This is to be glued down below the Jingle “i” so that it lays over the very bottom of the sign (as shown to the left). This piece also acts as an extra support for that part of the sign. Please ensure this is glued down prior to installing the electronics as to allow proper spacing for the battery compartment.
